Valentine's Day Banner and a Tutorial

Hello Friends!!  Heather here and today I would like to share with you an easy Valentine's Day banner that I created.
I used some red heart doilies that I found at my local dollar store, as well as the gold foil mini cupcake liners.  Of course I used some fabby ribbons, buttons and flowers from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
These went together very easily.
First I took three of the heart doilies, and placed them red side down on my craft mat.  Then I took a piece of salmon pink vintage seam binding and laid it across the top of them.  I made sure that they were spaced evenly apart.
Next I added some glue to the doily and while holding the seam binding in place, I placed another red doily on top of it (red facing up).  So I created a heart  doily sandwich.  I inked all of my paper pieces and my gold mini cupcake liners with Ranger's Frayed Burlap distress ink.
I layered on my cream hearts, then a curvy banner, a piece of pink swirls ribbon, the cupcake liners then the heart focals. I topped each focal with a button tied with baker's twine.  Next I added some more bows, one to the top, one at the bottom of the liner.
On two of the hearts I used Vintage Cream Seam Binding and my Bow it all Tool for my bow at the top.  I added a 20mm Red rose to the center.
I used teal baker's twine to create a bow in my Pastel Button.  I also used one of my new favorites the Textured two tone pink ribbon.
On the heart above I used another button from the same collection, and I tied my bow with the Textured two tone blue ribbon.
This was an easy banner to put together and it has a sweet retro look to it.
I am sure that you visited the Challenge post yesterday...
Anything but a card and Ribbon.

I thought you might like to know that I am offering the Collage sheets that I created to make this banner for free to my blog followers.  You can see all the sheets on my blog post here.
I even have a YouTube Tutorial showing you how I made it.
You can watch it below.

Thank you for visiting us at Really Reasonable Ribbon!
Hugs!!
