Good morning everyone I am Karen Taylor and
I am so excited to be here as a guest designer for Really Reasonable Ribbon !
I am excited to share with you Really Reasonable Ribbons June Ribbon Club Assortment.
With this being Memorial Day weekend and just 6 short weeks until the 4th of July it is the perfect time to grab the red, white and blue begin creating!
First I want to share an altered canvas that would be perfect to decorate any room with a little Americana flair.
I used ribbon around the edge and on the front to decorate this canvas.

top it with a bow...

This is the time of year when there is a great need for those handmade gifts. From thanking your child's teacher to celebrating the graduate, making a gift is a perfect choice. Today I wanted to bring a project that is simple to assemble and would make that special someone smile...

I used pink jute string for the center of the flower on top of the tin, ivory satin pleated ribbon and baker's twine - lemon (stringing the buttons) for the base of tin.I also used pink ribbon from this month's assortment.

Taking Notes!

T.G.I.F. Everyone! Angi here with some "Friday Fun" for ya today. I did a little bit of a design re-do with my project today. All of the teachers at my school received these cute Mini Kraft Notebooks from our Principal as a Teacher Appreciation Gift. It came with the cutest Mini Kraft Pen too. (smile)

Of course I had to dress it up a bit with some Really Reasonable Ribbon products:

These are all in the RRR Store.

I used ric rac on the bottom under the flower.

You can even dress up a pen with ric rac!

I'm on the hunt for more of these mini notebooks because Kraft is so FUN to dress up with ribbon!

And I love making Gift Bag Tags and wanted to show you one that I made last week using another of my fave RRR products.

Have a Safe & Blessed Memorial Day Weekend!

Ribbon Flower Medallion Tut.

Hi, Sarah here with a tut on how I made a Ribbon Flower Medallion shown on this card Here
For my Ribbon flower I used
Really Reasonable Ribbon
Diamond Satin Pink

Supplies you need:
Different size circles, some tape or glue, and a piece of Ribbon 20" long.
Paper and cardstock of your choice.
You can use circle punches or circle dies.

Cut 2 scallop circles from the largest die, and then 1 circle from each of the other dies.

Score both of the scallop circles across the center between every scallop.

Cut one of the score lines from edge
of scallop to center on both scallop circles.

Beginning at cut line fold back and forth on each score line.
Valley fold for one circle and mountain fold for the other.

Glue or tape both together.

Glue or tape the largest circle you cut, to back of the folded circle.

From your 20" piece of ribbon cut
8 pieces 2 1/2 " long.

Diamond Satin Pink

Fold in half and glue or tape.

Start layering the folded ribbon
on top of the folded scallop circle.

Crisscross the ribbons in place.

Then layer on the remaining circles
starting with the next biggest.
Add a sentiment or embellishment,
then add to your project.

Sneak peek of my Ribbon flower
on a card I will be featuring later.

Please check out Really Reasonable Ribbon for all your ribbon needs.
They carry a wonderful selection of ribbons.

Thank you for visiting and have a wonderful day!

Puffy Ribbon Technique

Hello, It's Connie again! I have a super quick and easy ribbon technique for you today! I was not sure what it is called so I decided on the puffy ribbon technique. If you have a better name, or know what it is called, please let me know! LOL!! Here I have used some 1.5" brown wrinkled satin ribbon, and some jute string. I took some small pieces of twine, and tied it around the wrinkled satin ribbon about an inch apart to give it the "puffy" portions of the ribbon treatment!

This wonderful Dahlia image will be released from Our Daily Bread Designs June 1st! I stamped it four times, colored each image with copics and cut out each layer to
give it some dimension! The base of the card was stamped with the Crocheted background stamp (which will also be released June 1st) in early espresso and sponged with crumb cake ink. The wonderful DP is from Prima, and this sketch is from this week's Mojo Monday sketch!

Thanks so much for visiting today! I hope you have a wonderful day!

Bows and More....

Ain't that what RIBBON is for?????

LOL.

Yes it is!

Today, I want to share with you a little bow that I made
...again for my muchkin...
I tend to use a LOT of ribbon when I make these bows..,
but you have to admit...it sure makes for an amazing
final product!

I used:
3/8  AND 7/8 inch animal Grosgrain Zebra
7/8 Zebra with pink hearts
3/8 inch pink/navy striped grosgrain
5/8 pink grosgrain w/black dots
1 1/2 inch pink grosgrain
and I did use a 3/8 sheer pink ribbon with hearts BUT
it must have been super popular!
SO...
I would recommend this one for a replacement if you wanted to try to replicate this bow...
3/8 inch pink grosgrain with linehearts

And here is a little sneak of the matching clippie I did with it.....
But you will have to wait for that (wink wink) because I feel a tutorial coming on!!!

Hope you like seeing how I put all of Bonnie's ribbon to good use.
As soon as I figure out how to video myself making a bow, I will post if for you all!
Until then...
I will answer ANY questions you may have!
Have a fantastic day!!!!
